Nakuru woman who was set ablaze by husband succumbs
The woman who was set on fire by her husband in Nakuru for coming home late has succumbed to her injuries
Speaking to the media, Doctor Joseph Mburu said Mrs Lucy Nyira who was doused in petrol could not overcome the severe burns.
“The extent of the burns was severe and as such sustained huge water loss,” Mburu said.
The 25-year-old Nyira met her tragedy on Saturday night after a domestic quarrel then her husband set her on fire leaving her for dead.
Neighbours got wind of the happening when Lucy had already suffered 25% degree burns.
Lucy had been admitted to hospital with 25% degree burns.
