Conseslus Kipruto wins Kenya another gold medal in Doha
World defending champion Conseslus Kipruto has won the 3000 meters steeplechase.
The flamboyant athlete won the race in 8 minutes and 01 seconds and 35 microseconds.
Kipruto won the tight race beating Ethiopia’s Lechama Girma by microseconds, the two athletes had to wait for a confirmation from the time machines to know who had won the race.
Lechama managed to finish in 8:01:36.

The gold by Kipruto now puts Kenya at three gold medal and one silver at position three on the leaders’ board behind USA and China.
