Netizens pour heartwarming messages to Kenyan’s celebrated weatherman Nguatah Francis as he retires
To any Kenyan born in the early 8o’s and late 90’s the name Nguata Francis is not Greek, but it a name that brings back nostalgic memories when KBC was indeed the national broadcaster and the only TV station in Kenya, while weather focus or “Utabiri wa Hali Ya Hewa” is a program that endeared Nguatah to our hearts.
Well, the curtains have come down for Kenya’s most celebrated weatherman who reigns on our Greatwall TV’s in the years gone by. Nguatah is officially retired.
The Kenya Meteorological Department took to their Twitter handle on Friday where they broke the news and called on Kenyans to celebrate the weatherman in a way they know best.
