Government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna has dismissed claims that controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has been barred from flying to Kenya.
The statement from Oguna comes in a few hours after the Canada-based lawyer claimed that he has been barred from boarding a flight from Frankfurt Airport in Germany to Nairobi.
“In fact, the Kenya Government has demanded that Lufthansa must refund my fare. They have demanded that Lufthansa should not fly me into any other African country, either,” said Miguna.
Oguna said Miguna is free to travel to Kenya on President Uhuru assurance and the Foreign Affairs ministry will handle any red alert issue.
Oguna added that Kenyatta’s remarks allowing Miguna’s return still stands despite lawyer’s claims that his return is being frustrated by some government officials.
