Groom disappears 2 months before the wedding in Taita Taveta
The whereabouts of a man in Lindi village, Mwatate, Taita Taveta county is is unknown two months to his wedding.
The man in question Mr James Mwamburi was last seen escorting some men after they had bought cows meant for the bride price.
“Since he left with those people we have never met until now,” said Swale Njonge, the father to James.
The family of the bride Dorcas Wairimu had already hired sitting chairs in readiness for the big day. Dorcas was to be married in December but the plans have now been halted due to James disappearance.
“I last spoke with him on October, 7 at 8:38 PM and he did tell me where he was going to. We had planned to wed in December but we have halted the plans until we get hold of him,” said Wairimu.
The 32-year-old James is well known by bodaboda riders in Mwatate owing to his busy motorbike garage.
The family has already reported the matter to the Mwatate Police Station, after unsuccessful searches at James house, mortuaries.
