Bishop Kiengei’s offensive remarks on Pritty Vishy
Bishop Kiengei appeared for a seemingly routine discussion session on the church-ran JCM TV.
The discussion spiraled out of control and into unchartered territory when the bishop allegedly started attacking content creator Pritty Vishy.
Bishop Kiengei went on a tirade on Vishy and her former lover Stevo Simple Boy, with a “she’s not appealing” comment aimed at Pritty Vishy.
Before their breakup, musicians Stevo and Vishy were among Kenya’s most-followed pairs. The two were known for their intriguing looks and compelling ghetto success stories.
After a long protracted drama and cheating accusations, the two lovebirds went their separate ways. Stevo pursued his music career and went on to release several hit songs including Freshi Barida and Shega.
Vishy on the other hand became a YouTube and TikTok sensation engaging thousands of followers on different social networks.
Kenyans react to Bishop Kiengei’s comments towards Pritty Vishy
Comments that initially seemed like light banter quickly sparked a storm of outrage, leading to furious reactions from viewers and the public.
Notable public figures including female rapper Femi One have sharply criticized the bishop for his comments.
“This video pissed me off on so many levels. This is a Bishop and on Sunday he will most likely be preaching bout how we are all created in the likeliness of God!!” said Femi One on Instagram.
According to a section of the bishop’s followers, the comments were insensitive and unbecoming for a person of his stature.

Pritty Vishy responds to Bishop Kiengei’s remarks
Although the bishop has reportedly apologized for his remarks, Pritty Vishy is not accepting it.
The self-styled Queen of Confidence took to her Instagram stories to demand a grand apology from the bishop.
According to Vishy, since the body shaming and abuse were loud, the apology should be louder.
Along with his apology, Bishop Kiengei has invited Vishy to attend his church’s upcoming Sunday service.
