New subscribers who provide direct, recurring payment details (e.g. Credit Card, Paypal) will receive a free trial to try out the service. You may cancel at any time, if not you will be billed automatically at the end of the trial period. Subscribers using a pre-paid payment method (e.g. Vouchers) will not receive a free trial. Subscribers who are paying through a partner may get a free trial depending on the partner offer.
How to install the Showmax app on your gaming console
Xbox One
- Go to the application Store tab on the Xbox One.
- Search for “Showmax”.
- Install the free Showmax app.
- Sign in to the app using the same email and password you used to sign up for Showmax.
- To pin the Showmax app to your home screen, highlight the app tile, press the menu button and then select “pin to home”.
PlayStation 4
- Go to the PlayStation Store on your PS4 (Available in South Africa only).
- Search for “Showmax”.
- Install the free Showmax app.
- Sign in to the app using the same email and password you used to sign up for Showmax.
