Kenyans react to Misheveve Chief’s viral video

The bizarre events at the Trans-Nzoia household were explained by Chief Protus Sifuna in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Largely shared on TikTok, the video found its way to X, Facebook, and Instagram as Kenyans scrambled to get a piece of the action.

A majority of netizens struggled to understand why the local man attacked his parents over what appears to be a local dish in the area.

The chief also revealed that the young man almost killed his dad who attempted to save his mother.

“Akaulizia mama umepika mboga gani? Mama akasema leo nimeunda misheveve. Kijana akasema sikutaka izi nilitaka sarat! Alianza kwa kutafuna mzee vidole kama anatafuna omena! Kumbe anafanya hesabu ya minus kwa uhai ya mzee,” said Mr. Protus as he narrated the incident to the media.
