Go for premarital counselling
As a couple preparing to walk down the aisle, you need to go for pre-marital counselling together six months before the wedding. This is to ensure that both of you are on the same page and that marriage is what you want! Counselling will help you set the correct foundation as well as being able to save enough money before the big day in order to have your dream wedding.
Respect each other
Respect may greatly determine how long your marriage will hold up. To do this well, you need to respect yourself first. You can’t give what you don’t have. Therefore, charity must begin at home. Treat each other cordially regardless of any prevailing situation at hand. Try to put your partner’s feelings over your own.
