3 suspects caught ferrying bhang in a church bus to be arraigned
The three suspects who were caught ferrying bhang using a PEFA church bus will be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
Three suspects, are Benjamin Mkapa Segea, 22, Emmanuel Katana Kombe,and Daniel Ngala Mwagandi.
Voi OCPD Bernstein Shali said the suspects had stashed fish into the bus to kill the smell of bhang so that they can pass checkpoints undetected.
The Isuzu bus that belongs to PEFA Church, North Coast region was intercepted by detectives at Ndara area.
230 rolls of bhang valued at Sh46,000 were confiscated in the raid.
The bus was transporting funeral mourners from Homa Bay to Kilifi.
