Former Prime Minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga has said Tanga Tanga MPs and Senators are free to attend all the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) rallies starting from this weekend in Mombasa.
Raila was speaking, Thursday while meeting Mount Kenya MPs ahead of BBI rally for Meru on February 15.
“They have realised that BBI is not about 2022 politics but an initiative meant to unite the country,” Raila said.
Raila met Senators Irungu Kangata (Muranga), Mwangi Githiomi (Nyandarua), Isaac Mwaura (nominated), Ephraim Maina (Nyeri) and James Orengo (Siaya) at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Nairobi.
The statement from Odinga comes in days after Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen led a the Tanga Tanga leaders in stating that they will be attending the BBI rallies and even take over the meetings if necessary.
