Woman succumbs after being stabbed 6 times in Eldoret
A middle-aged woman was allegedly killed by two women who are her neighbours at Kapchogir area in on the outskirts of Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu county.
The unfortunate incident happened on Wednesday morning at 5:50 am.
The deceased, a 31-year-old woman was stabbed six times and is suspected to have been killed in a love triangle as some residents claims.
“The deceased was just getting out to continue with her laundry chores but the two women waylaid her and started stabbing her,” one of the residents said.
One of the locals tried to conduct first aid on her but in vain, when they managed to rush her to the nearest hospital she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The lady was stabbed on the back, chest, ribs, legs and thighs.
The deceased husband said he has rumours of the wife engaging in extramarital affairs but he has never caught her in the act.
The deceased had been married for 10 years with five children. The suspects were taken to Kapsoya Police station.
