Miguna takes government to court again

Embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna has yet again filed another application that seeks to compel the State to allow his return to Kenya.

The hearing is set for Friday under Justice Weldon Korir.

Earlier Justice Weldon Korir stated that orders issued on Miguna‘s return remain in force and he gave the State until Thursday to file responses in the case.

Miguna has further issued his demand in the new case filed by his lawyers.

“As a first step and to ensure compliance: The rogue State should be ordered to purchase air tickets and issue a valid Kenyan passport for me and then bear the cost of two of my lawyers and two officers from Kenya National Commission for Human Rights to travel to where I am and accompany me back to Kenya,” said Miguna.

Miguna was bundled out of the country kicking and screaming in February 2018.
