Traffic police shoots colleague in a frantic move to escape EACC detectives
A traffic police officer in Kisumu has been shot while in the line of duty by his fellow officer on Wednesday morning.
The female traffic officer was rushed to a Kisumu hospital where she was hospitalised.
The gun drama ensued after the 3 traffic police officers were arrested along Kisumu-Kakamega highway by EACC detectives who had pounced on them after getting wind that the three cops were taking bribes from motorists plying the route.
After conducting a sting operation at Mamboleo junction in Kisumu the EACC detectives arrested four policemen.
