Thousands stranded after heavy floods hit Lamu
The heavy rains witnessed in the Coastal region have left over 1,000 residents in Lamu county destitute.
Among the residents most affected are school-going children, and security agencies in the Boni Forest.
The areas become flooded after Rive Lagwerera broke its banks.
