The successful career of Cesc Fàbregas
There are many famous football players from Catalonia, among which Cesc Fàbregas stands out. Football scores today of the teams in which the midfielder played, can be viewed on the informative statistical website. Cesc is not a fan of changing clubs often, so there were only four of them in his career.
The biggest part of Fàbregas’ career was spent at Arsenal in London: 304 matches, 57 goals and 96 assists. He arrived at the “Gunners” as a result of an exchange, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and about a million euros went to Barcelona as compensation. Even then, Arsène Wenger knew that Fàbregas was the future of Arsenal, but he did not fulfill his promise to Cesc. The French coach talked about a guaranteed starting line-up for the Spaniard but only released him in the Football League Cup. Fàbregas did not take offense, trained hard and tried, and earned the opportunity to play in the starting line-up as a result.
Cesc became a leader almost immediately. It was difficult to imagine Arsenal without him for a long time. However, he also dreamed of playing for Barcelona, which the management did not really like. All offers from the Catalans were rejected, but in August 2011 the Londoners agreed and Fàbregas went to conquer Spain. The midfielder showed mediocre results. Already in 2014, Barcelona received a generous offer from Chelsea and immediately agreed to it.
