Sarah Wairimu now wants DCI boss  George Kinoti jailed

Sarah Wairimu, the widow of slain Dutch Tycoon Tob Cohen has filed an application in court seeking for the arrest and DCI boss and the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) over alleged contempt.

On Tuesday, Wairimu’s lawyer Philip Murgor said the ODPP and DCI went against the directive of Justice Jessie Lessit when they addressed the media on ongoing investigations.

Wairimu also wants DCI boss George Kinoti, an advocate from the ODPP’s office Juma Owiti and journalist John Kamau detained for a term not exceeding six months.

According to Sarah if the three are not jailed the for the sanctity of the courts lies in limbo.

Sarah denied the charges on the murder of Tob Cohen and was released on Sh2 million bail.
