Reprieve for Africa Spirits Limited as High Court squash investigation orders

The embattled Africa Spirits Limited (ASL) can now rest easy after the High Court revoked the orders to investigate it over alleged Sh41 billion tax evasion case.

The alcohol manufacturer has been involved in a heated legal battle in recent days that has so far led to the closure of its Thika-based factory for the last six months.

Famous portable alcoholic drinks manufactured by ASL include Glen Rock, Legend Black, Blue Moon, Legend Brandy, Gypsy King and Furaha.
