Police stations to be digitized — CS Fred Matiang’i

Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has said that all police stations in the country will be equipped with computers by June 30, 2020.

Matiang’i further said the move will help establish a security database for the law enforcers.

In January 2019, Matiang’i launched the digitization of police services at the Karisa Maitha ground in Malindi.

The process will see all police officers and their data recorded in a digital database aimed at easing operation in security management.
