Plane crashes at Wilson Airport
A Silverstone Air plane bound for Lamu crashed this morning at the Wilson Airport. The plane 5Y-IZZO crushed on the run way shortly after taking of.
The plane had 50 passengers on board. Two of the passengers have been injured and they have been rushed to Nairobi Hospital for treatment.
The other passengers have been safely evacuated from the flight and no further casualties have been reported.
the cause of the crash is still not known.
Silverstone Air management has released a statement confirming the incident.
