How to place a Mega Jackpot Bet on Sportpesa.
Step 1:
Mega Jackpot is a weekly jackpot with 17 pre-selected games that usually play on the weekend.
The cash prize for Mega Jackpot starts at KSHs 100,000,000 and the amount progresses every week whenever we don’t have a winner of the Mega Jackpot.
To place a bet on the Mega Jackpot, SMS to 79079 “MJP” followed by “#” then the 17 predictions of the pre-selected games.
e.g. MJP#1211XX12X1X12X12X
Note: One does not have to enter the stake since Mega Jackpot amount by default is KSHs 100.
Step 2:
You will receive a confirmation message from 79079 showing your Mega Jackpot Bet ID, all the 17 predictions you have made, the bet amount and your SportPesa account balance.
Note:
You are a winner when all your 17 predictions match the games outcomes.
Mega Jackpot is equally shared among all the winners.
Bonuses are awarded for 12 ,13,14,15 and 16 correct predictions.
You can place as many bets as you wish on the Mega Jackpot, each bet still costs KSHs 100.
Step 3:
Double Combination bet on Mega Jackpot (MJP) simply makes it easier to make multiple bets at once instead of repeating the same sequence many times if you want to place more than one MJP bet via SMS.
This allows you to place a bet with two predictions on a single game, on up to 7 games from the listed 17 MJP games in one bet!
For example, if you wish to make 2 predictions on 3 MJP games, you will have placed 8 MJP bets in total. i.e. 2^3 (2*2*2=8 JP bets)
e.g. MJP#1X#X#2#12#2#X#X#X#X#1#1#2X#1#1#1#X#1
In the example above, the 2 predictions are on the first, fourth and twelfth game.
