Phone Screen Resolution and Why it Matters

1. 1. Screen display is one of the most important aspects to consider when getting a new phone.
   2. Display refers to the visuals you see on your screen whether it is videos, pictures, or text.
   3. The display quality is highly dependent on screen resolution.
   4. Resolution is a value obtained by multiplying the pixel numbers on the width by those on the height of the screen.
   5. For instance, a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels means the display has a total of 921,600 pixels.
   6. Display resolutions come in the following classifications;
      1. 1. 1280 x 720 pixels. This resolution is referred to as High Definition (HD), indicated as 720p.
         2.  1920 x 1080 pixels. This resolution is referred to as Full HD, also indicated as 1080p.
         3. 2560 X1440 pixels. This resolution is Quad HD, also known as 2000p/2K.
         4. 4096 x 2160 pixels. This is a 4K resolution.
         5. 3,840 x 2160 pixels. This is an Ultra-HD resolution.
   7. While screen size determines your viewing area, pixel density (Pixel per Inch) determines the clarity and sharpness of visuals.
   8. Where resolution is the same, a smaller screen will have more clarity than a bigger screen due to pixel density.
