Organizers of Chris Martin’s ‘Big Deal Concert,’ held on Saturday at the Impala grounds, Nairobi have apologized for the security setback witnessed during the event.
According to reports, muggers had a field day stealing from revelers to the point of even making it difficult for them to take videos of the performances.
“We have great respect for the fans who have supported our shows and we apologize for the lapses in controls and security,” Umoja Splash said in a statement.

The much ‘Big deal’ concert slated for KICC grounds was moved to Impala grounds, Gong road due to unpredictable changes in the weather patterns and overwhelming response it had gotten, which raised security concerns.
However, in spite of the security challenges witnessed, the Jamaican trio staged a breathtaking performance.
Also, several acts locally graced the stage include; Elani, Masauti, and Bensoul among others.
