How to check your KCPE results:ย 

KCPE results will be collected by respective schools from sub-county offices.

For individual results do the following:

  1. Send candidate index number followed by KCPE in capital letters through SMS to 20076.

Top candidate

  1. Master Andy Micheal Munyiri of Damacrest Schools in Thogoto.
  2. Flavian Onyangoย – 439 – Chakol Girls
  3. June Cheptooย – 439 – Sang’alo Primary school, Nandi county.
  4. Michael Ndung’uย – 439 – Kitengela International School

Three students tied for position 3 with 439 marks, two of them were girls from public schools.

 

Top candidate scored -440 marks.

KCPE results- the numbers.

50.17 per cent of boys sat the exams while 49. 83 were girls.

Nairobi, Kakamega and Nakuru had the highest candidature

Samburu, Isiolo and Lamu had the lowest candidature,

Counties with overaged candidates above 19-years-old were mostly in Kilifi, Turkana, Garissa.

Magoha has promised parents that children will receive 100 per cent transition to secondary education.

By December 2, every KCPE candidate will know which secondary school they will be joining.

“None of the examination papers leaked. The number of pregnancies among candidates reduced significantly,” says Magoha.

Malpractices

There were few cases of malpractices at least only two cases were reported, Magoha also said none of the examination papers leaked.

“We have managed to release the results just 17 days after completion of exams, I sincerely thank everyone.”
