Kathy Kiuna shares husband’s battle with cancer
Jubilee Christian Church’s reverend Kathy Kiuna has revealed her husband’s struggle with cancer.
Through a social media post, Kiuna shared a detailed account of her husband’s cancer journey from the point of diagnosis.
“Last year, was a difficult time for us. My husband was diagnosed with cancer and was away seeking treatment. Chemotherapy had him losing hair, gaining weight and unable to do much physically; he was unable to stand or walk for long and had to tiptoe around from the immense pain in his legs.” She said.
She stated that even though times proved difficult, she held on to her faith, believing that God would make a way for her husband.
“Regardless of how I felt, I had to show my husband that we would get through this and show strength even when it was hard and would later go on my knees and remind God of His promises most times with tears rolling down my face.”
This story comes in th wake of raising alarm cancer cases within the country.
