Jacques Chirac passes on at 86, France mourns
The former president of Frace Jacques Rene’ Chirac is dead.
Chirac died at the age of 86.
The late Chirac was born in 1932, to a bank manager who later managed the Dassault aircraft company.
The octogenarian leader will be remembered most for his mastery in the art of political seduction which for years he used to charm his followers.
The centre-right politician served from 1995 to 2007
Leaders across the European Union and worldwide have been sending their condolences.
