I killed mother, daughter in Katani, GSU officer confesses
Anthony Kilonzo, the GSU officers who was linked to the killing of a mother and daughter in Katani, has confessed his crimes before a judge at Milimani court.
Kilonzo told the courts on Thursday he killed 35-year-old businesswoman Purity Wanjiru and her 60-year-old mother Anne Gatiti after he was approached by a friend to assist.
“I was approached by a friend to go help do the job of killing the woman,” he said.
Presiding magistrate Muthoni Nzibe directed that Kilonzo should be detained at Kilimani police station for 21 days and medics should also assess his mental faculties.
