Husband goes berserk kicks, stabs wife in front of students
Students at St Paul Gulf Academy in Bondo, Siaya County were treated to a scary scene on Tuesday evening after a man attacked their teacher while the class was in session.
The man who is believed to be the husband to the teacher attacked his wife Everline Akinyi Atieno living her knife wounds.
The man, Kevin Otieno attacked Everline minutes after ordering her to surrender her cellphone.
Kevin did not just draw out a knife to stab her, he also descended on her with kicks and blows.
She told Ramogi FM that he stabbed her on the neck and left cheek as children screamed for help.
Kevin was arrested and taken to Bondo Police Station, however, reports currently indicate that he was released under unclear circumstances.
Everline was rushed to Bondo sub-county hospital for treatment.
