The process cannot take you more than 5 minutes.

Follow these simple steps to update your Safaricom SIM details.

    1. Walk into the nearest Safaricom shop. Kindly make this visit early enough to avoid tedious queuing on deadline day.
    2. Make sure you have with you your Original National Identity Card.
    3. Once at the Safaricom shop, you will be directed to an agent.
    4. The agent will ask and enter your phone number.
    5. Your National ID will be scanned.
    6. The agent will then take a photo of you for additional security.
    7. You will be shown all the numbers registered under your name, and asked to identify which ones to update.
    8. You will then be required to input your signature on the agentโ€™s smart device.
    9. Once you put your signature, the details will be successfully submitted and you will receive a confirmation message shortly after.

Airtel Kenya allows you to update your registration details either online or at Airtel authorized outlets nationwide.

      1. Visit an Airtel shop.
      2. Make sure you have with you your original National Identity Card.
      3. You will be required to present this ID card and a picture of it taken.
      4. A photo of you will also be taken for additional security.
