How to obtain an Investment Certificate.
An investor registered with Kenya Investment Authority obtains an Investment Certificate upon request and proof of investment of at least 100 000 USD or it’s equivalent for a foreign investor and 1 000 000 KES or it’s equivalent for a local investor.
With this certificate, the investor benefits from the initial issuance of any additional licenses required for their operations except for health, security and environmental certificates for a maximum period of one year.
The investor is entitled to three class D entry permits for the management or technical staff and three class C, F or G entry permits for owners, shareholders or partners for a maximum period of two years.

Requirements:
It should be addressed to the Managing Director Kenya Investment Authority and it should indicate the activities of the company.
