How to Delete My Twitter Account From My Mobile Phone

The Twitter mobile application does not allow users to delete their accounts, but you can accomplish this by deactivating your account. Effectively delete the Twitter account on your mobile phone by opening the account settings menu and choosing the “Deactivate” option. Doing this will only take a few minutes.

Step 1

Open a web browser application on your phone. Wait for the program to load.

Step 2

Type http://www.twitter.com” into the address bar of the browser. Click the “Go” button.

Step 3

Enter your Twitter username and password into the login fields. Press the “Sign In” button.

Step 4

Click your username’s icon in the upper right corner of the page. Select the “Settings” option

Step 5

Scroll down to the bottom of the “Settings” page. Click the “Deactivate My Account” link. Click the “Okay, Fine, Deactivate My Account” button to confirm your account deletion. Deactivating a Twitter account means the account will be permanently deleted. Twitter calls it deactivation because the account information stays within the Twitter’s internal servers for 30 days before it’s completely removed.
