How to check KCSE 2022 results online and via SMS
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) 2022 results have been released today Friday, January 20th by Education Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
The announcement marks the end of the 2022 examination cycle that was marked with drama in the marking stage as some examiners staged a strike.
Marking, however, resumed following high-level intervention from government officials. You can check KCSE results via SMS or online.
How to Check KCSE 2022 Results via SMS

- You can get KCSE 2022 results by sending an SMS to 20076.
- The SMS should contain the Index Number followed by the initials KCSE.
- For example, 12345678912KCSE and send to 20076Â which is the KNEC SMS code.
- The index number must be 11 digits.
- You are also advised not to have spacing between the index number and the initials KCSE.
- Every SMS will cost you KES 25.
How to Check KCSE 2022 Results online
You can also get KCSE 2022 results online on the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal through the following steps;

- Visit the KNEC online portalÂ
- Click on the KCSE Results tab
- Select the year you sat for the Exams
- Enter your Index number.
- Click the Submit button.
- Your KCSE results should show on the screen after a while.
- The KNEC online portal may experience delays due to high usage.
- Slips are to be collected at the respective examination centers.
