Full list of population size per county according to 2019 Census
The much-awaited results of the 2019 Census drive conducted in August are finally out.
The results which are the fastest to be released in the history of all census drive indicated that women form the majority of the Kenyan population by over 500,000 compared to men.
Below is a full list of how the 47 counties numbered up.
President Uhuru Kenyatta said the results from the exercise will help the nation plan better and effectively for all her development plans.
“The numbers released today will go a long way in guiding successive planning for the benefit of all Kenyans. I expect that KNBS will release the other census volumes and make them available to planners,” said Uhuru.
