Four aides of Governor Mike Sonko charged after Tuesday protest at EACC
Four people who are also employees of Nairobi City County have been charged for creating disturbance and resisting arrest on Tuesday, during the grilling of county boss Mike Sonko.
The suspects, John Abok, Joseph Mwangi Karai, Kennedy Odhiambo and Richard Bosire were presented before Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot on Wednesday.
The four denied participating in an unlawful assembly or resisting arrest on November 5, 2019 at EACC headquarters.
The four were released on a cash bail of Shs100,000 each. The case will be mentioned on November 20 for pre-trial.
