Florence Wanjiku’s agonizing separation from Elias Njeru
The two business partners were recently involved in a heated dispute that allegedly resulted in Florence’s arrest by the police.
With their relationship and real estate business going downhill, the two made a decision to split up, where Florence demanded reimbursement for a loan she had offered him.
Unconfirmed reports allege that Elias retaliated by orchestrating Wanjiku’s arrest on claims that she had stolen a company car she was driving.
The estranged couple later met to resolve their differences and agree on co-parenting, after which Florence was attacked.
Following the fruitful meeting where they agreed on several solutions, Florence drove out of the hotel meeting venue.
Florence told the media in an interview that she was attacked by her husband on her way home.
“I drove to my house in the Olive Inn area of Kiamunyi. When I reached the gate, I noticed that Mutugi was behind me in his car. I attempted to reverse but ended up bumping into his car. In a fit of anger, he got out and reached through my rolled-down window to snatch the keys from my car,” said Florence to local media.
Elias Njeru Mutugi allegedly stabbed her multiple times before she broke away and dragged herself to the house. Elias followed her and continued the attack.
