Bongo movie star Wema Sepetu has said that she is trying to distance herself from friends as she may not be aware of who wishes her ill thoughts.

While answering questions of fans Wema, known to have a close nit circle of friends who normally show up with her on public appearances. Asked on the where a bouts of her alleged girlfriends, she said:

“Na hisi niko comfortable enough kuride solo, niko comfortable solo wakati huu, because wanasema you never know mtu wako wa karibu ndo. . .kikulacho kinguoni mwako, Tutaonekana pamoja pale when it is necessary. Kila mtu afanye mambo yake tukikutana, tule mate kidogo, tucheke, tumalizane tuwachane hapo. Huwezi jua mchawi wako ni nani,” she told Bongo 5.

Wema, who never shies away from sharing about her relationships recently opened up about her life journey and her struggle to conceive.

In an interview on her new App, Wema explained that her late ex-boyfriend Tanzanian actor Steven Kanumba was not pleased with her aborting his child, a move that saw the late actor ‘curse her womb,’ according to the socialite.

“Wewe Mwanamke nakudai, nakudai watoto wangu wewe, hutoweza kuja kupata mtoto na Mwanaume mwingine yeyote yule,” she said.

In the same interview, a teary Wema went on to lament how she has struggled to conceive over the years without much success.

In a previous interview with Global Publishers, Wema explained that she could not keep the pregnancies at the time cause she was young, and feared her parents.

“Naomba niwe mkweli sijawahi kutoa mimba zaidi ya marehemu Steven Kanumba, na nilitoa kwa kuwahofia wazazi wangu kwa kuwa nilikuwa bado mdogo hivyo nilikuwa na hofu nitajieleza vipi kwa wazazi wangu,” said Wema.

“Hata mimi natamani kuitwa mama na hakuna kinachoniuma kama hicho. Mwafikiria nisingependa kuacha hata copy kangu siku ndo Mungu anasema ananichukua. Ningependa kupiga picha niko na mwanangu. I want that with all my life, but I can’t!”

“Let me be open today so that people can know this, I am suffering from a disease, which causes my eggs (ovaries) to rapture and thus cannot be fertilized,” said Sepetu in a past interview with a Tanzania daily.
