The former US First Lady Michelle Obama on Sunday bagged a Grammy Award.

Michelle won on the category of Best Spoken Word Album, for her memoir, Becoming.

The book, a 2018 release, Michelle opens up on her personal life, sharing her personal life experiences and her struggle to conceive her daughters.

Her win on Sunday gives the Obama household its third Grammy with her husband and former president Barack Obama having won two Grammys in the same category for his books.

Among other winner walked away with bragging rights include; pop star Billie Eilish who swept the board with five awards, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year awards.

Eilish also walked away with the Album of the Year award, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go.

While receiving her award at the ceremony she said: “I joke around a lot at these things, but I genuinely want to say I’m so grateful.”

Other winners who walked with bragging rights included Lil Nas X, who won Video of the Year award for Old Town Road, and Lizzo, who scooped three prizes including Best Pop Solo Performance for her breakout hit, Truth Hurts.
