Mombasa residents were left in shock after a 33-year-old man was arrested handling a live 2.3-metres long python on Tuesday night near the Likoni Ferry.

The man who is of the Giriama descent had properly tucked in the 10-kilogram snake in a black suitcase before police officers intercepted him and searched his bags.
