Big win for Wilson Sossion amidst KNUT leadership wrangles
The tough-talking Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary-General and nominated MP Wilson Sossion must be a true definition of the proverbial nine-life cat after another big win within the justice corridors.
In the ruling, the judge said KNUT’s National Executive Council acted in contempt of a court order when the bungled Sossion from his office.
This means that Sossion will still remain in office despite the ouster.
However, the court will give a clear verdict on September, 27, whether Sossion can hold both offices as KNUT SG and MP.
As reported by the Daily Nation, the ruling was made by the Employment and Labour relations Judge Hellen Wasilwa on Tuesday, September 24.
