Court bars Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro from firing, shuffling CECs
The court has bared Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro from firing or reshuffling County Executive pending determination of a petition filed by a resident.
In his ruling Judge Onesmus Makau ordered Nyoro not to change any thing in the county administration as it was organised by incumbent Governor Ferdinand Waititu who is facing graft allegations.
Nyoro who has been serving as acting governor had already fired Francis Kigo Njenga and Waititu close ally from the finance department and appointed Wilson Mburu Kangethe.
“From violating the provisions section of 32, 4 and 5 of the county government act, pending the inter parties hearing,” said Makau.
The case filed by a resident Marion Njeri Njoroge. The case will be heard again on October, 2, 2019.
