Al Shabaab kills two of their members in Wajir police post raid
Dreaded terrorist group Al Shabaab has lost two of its members after they attacked Dadajubula police post in Wajiri county on Tuesday night.
Dadajubula police OCS Stapol Habaswein stated that the incident happened 13 km from the Somalia border.
The terror group attacked the police post in the rescue mission after two of their members were detained at the station.
The KDF officers said they heard gunshots from the attackers who shouted in Somalia language.
“It was dark and the officers dispersed in different directions from the camp and exchange of fire ensued,” the commander reported.
The number of fatalities is not yet clear, the KDF officers have so far sent reinforcements to pursue the attackers.
