Gengetone Group Sailors emerged as the biggest winners in the just concluded Pulse Music Video Awards (PMVA).
The awards ceremony saw the gengetone group scoop a total of four awards out of the possible eleven categories.
The group bagged; New Wave of the Year, Best Group of the Year and Viewer’s Choice of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year.

Nadia Mukami’s Radio love scooped two awards – Female video of the year, Video director of the year (Ricky Bekko)
Kaligraph Jones – Male Video of the year award (song Leave me alone)
Zzero Sufuri – the Best breakthrough of the year (for the song Zimenishika)
Sol Generation’s Nviiri, The Story Teller – with the song Pombe Sigara
Becky – Video Vixen of the Year (featured in Ochungulo family’s song Thutha)
Moji Short Baba – Gospel song of the year Award (song Pekee Yangu)
Thursday, marked the event’s 5th year since its launch.
The annual event aims at rewarding the best artist in various spaces.
