5 Signs of infertility in women
It is not unusual for couples to experience issues with infertility and many of these couples have no symptoms. They do not really have any reason to suspect they may have infertility until they start trying to conceive.
Because of this, it’s highly recommended that couples who have been trying to get pregnant for over a year without success, to seek the advice of a doctor. For females over age 35, this timeline is lowered to six months. Infertility issues may increase with age.
There are many conditions that may lead to infertility, for example, when chlamydia is left untreated for a long time, it can lead to blocked fallopian tubes.

Irregular periods
A normal menstruation cycle goes for 28 days however, anything within the range of 28-33 days cycle which is consistent is considered normal. The keyword here is consistency.
A lady who cannot tell when next she will be having her periods because they are so inconsistent needs to get checked out.
Irregular periods can be caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome or hormonal imbalance related issues.

No periods
It is common for a woman to miss a period. This can be as a result of heavy workout, stress or even change of environment. However, you need to pay close attention to the frequency of you missing your period.
If it has happened for more than 3 months and you are not on any contraceptive, then it’s time that you saw a doctor.
Painful and heavy periods
The good news is that you are having your periods however, that’s not good enough. If you are having painful and heavy period, then something might be wrong.
Painful periods that interfere with your daily routine could be a sign of endometriosis so don’t ignore this and assume that it’s normal because most ladies do have cramps.
Painful sex
Many ladies have experienced painful sex their entire lives, so they think and are convinced it’s normal. But it’s certainly not, sex is not supposed to hurt.
This may be related to having some hormone issues, to endometriosis, or to some other underlying conditions that could also be contributing to infertility.
Hormonal fluctuation
Hormonal fluctuation may be a sign of infertility so if you are experiencing some of these signs it’s important to book an appointment with your doctor;
Weight gain, thinning of the hair, dry and other skin issues, facial hair growth and low sexual desires.
