I want to be a journalist like my father — Top KCPE girl
Top KCPE candidate June Cheptoo has revealed to the world that she would loke to be a journalist like her father who is a sports editor for The Standard.
“I would like to be a journalist and an actress but it also depends on the school,” said Cheptoo.
Speaking to journalists at her Kipchawat home in Marakwet county a jovial Cheptoo said she could not hide her joy as the results surprised her slightly.
“I feel great, I did not expect it to happen when I heard the first guy scored 440 marks I thought I will manage a score of 420 marks,” said Cheptoo.
Cheptoo narrated that the results she got were due to hard work and determination, healthy competition and a bit of motivation from his father. She only took the first position while in class six and seven.
She scored 452 in her pe KCPE exams.
Cheptoo would like to join Pangani High school Nairobi, which she says its a good school given the referrals she has received from friends who school there.
