Timmy Tdat has pulled down controversial video Vitamin U from YouTube.
A spot check by howto confirmed that indeed the original video has been pulled from the platform and replaced with an edited version.
This is after Kenya Films and Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua wrote to Google asking them to delete the video.
But instead, YouTube opted to make it unavailable to restricted audiences.
Last week saw Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree apologise after landing in trouble with Tanzanian Film Board over the controversial song.
Ree was summoned by Tanzania Film Board, Wednesday.
Taking it to social media, she apologised stating that she had no prior knowledge that the video would land her in trouble. Saying she was not conversant with the structure pertaining to video regulations concerning artists in Tanzania.
She said.
The 24-year-old further stated that she had learned a lot from the discussion they had and won’t repeat the mistake again.
