Raila odinga has a way with words in the political scene. From his hilarious vitendawili to using allegories. Remember Canaan? A word he coined during the hotly contested 2017 polls.
Well, during the just concluded Kibra by-elections where Imran okoth was declared winner by a landslide. Raila was at it again. He formidably campaigned for Imran bringing his wits and humor on the campaign trail.
At the eve of the by-election and during the tallying process twitterati and Facebook users literally broke the internet using the Raila’s ‘bedroom’ phrase depicting the nature of the chaotic poll.
Here’s what some of the leaders had to say, as they issued their congratulatory messages to Imran;
Congratulations ndugu @ImranOkoth MP Elect Kibra Constituency. Your political journey is quite a story bro. You beat 24 at the nominations, 23 at the ballot. Wewe ndio ule #BedroomBully. May the good Lord guide you as you serve your people.#MbelePamoja#BedroomSecured

Kibra you are amazing! In spite of questionable reinforcements ,the con-handshake candidate narrative, the violence/ intimidation, you went past the gate, the door & voted Jubilee a third of 'bedroom'. You have changed the politics of, not just Kibra but Kenya. We are indebted.
