Former Churchill Show comedian is dead
Former Churchill Show comedian Anthony Njenga alias Njenga Mwalimu is dead.
The comedian was found dead on Thursday, November 7 at Ndonyo market in Dagoretti South constituency.
Reports indicate that the comedian was struggling with drug addiction and despite being taken through a rehabilitation centre his condition grew from bad to worse.
Unconfirmed reports alleged that Njenga might have committed suicide due to depression.
However other reports suggest that the comedian might have been knocked down by a speeding train early on Thursday.
“He was a great person, a great friend, but drugs were his downfall. We are not sure if he was on the tracks or he threw himself on the oncoming train to end his life,” said Erick a friend to Njenga.
