Ex-President Moi discharged

Former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi has been discharged from hospital his press secretary Lee Njiru has confirmed.

Moi had been hospitalised at the Nairobi Hospital on October 28 after experiencing breathing complications.

“The Moi family has expressed gratitude to all those who offered prayers and sent quick recovery,” Press secretary Lee Njiru said.

Moi had been at the Nairobi Hospital Intensive Care unit for 10 days two weeks after visiting a hospital.

However, the former president is now out of danger after his medical team led by personal physician, David Silverstein, gave him a clean bill of health.
