3 Things that you shouldn’t discuss with your friends about your relationship
Being truthful in a relationship there are very important pieces to making it successful. Keeping secrets from each other is toxic, but it’s key to keep some things between the two of you.
There is a very thin line between privacy and secrecy. It’s a line that is essential to maintain a successful relationship.
When you’re part of a happy couple, you’re generally an excited person. You’re in love, you want to tell the world and you don’t care who knows it. That’s understandable.
However, blabbing about your relationship to others can be tricky. You don’t want to be secretive, but you also don’t need to discuss certain aspects of your love life with everyone.
Below are some of the things that you may want to keep to yourselves irregardless of the situation that you may be in.
- Your partners flaws
Don’t discuss your partner’s weaknesses with someone else. Everyone has demons and baggage and it’s what makes them unique. You should calm them down, make them better, and don’t put the issues out in public.
2. Love life issues
Intimacy should be kept private. Regardless of how big or small the piece of information is, it’s unfair to the other person for you to openly talk about it.
Whatever you do in your bedroom should be left there not unless you are only sharing with you gynecologist otherwise all other third parties should be kept out of your love life.
Problems, fantasies, and everything relating to the bedroom is not to be shared. When you do you break trust and this can cause fights. Don’t let anger send you to do something you’ll regret.
3. Your fights
I must make this clear, i am not condoning physical abuse in relationships but there are some issues that you are not supposed to share. If you are being abused, it is important that you talk about that and get all the necessary help.
There are some fights that you got to keep to yourself, you might share them with your friends but to them, they will be just seeing the pettiness in you guys, hence this can cause issues in your relationships and even the friendship.
