Top cops gun down a murder suspect in Katani
A murder suspect has been zapped by a police officer early on Wednesday morning at his home in Katani, Machakos county.
Two AK 47 rifles that belong to a GSU officer were recovered from the deceased and spent cartridges that match the guns were found at the murder scene.
According to the police officers, the suspected had been hired to kill a mother and daughter in Karani, Machakos county on Sunday.
Athi River sub-county police boss Samuel Mukuusi confirmed that the man who was killed by his boys was indeed the suspect who waylaid the mother and daughter outside their home before opening fire.
Another suspect in the Sunday murder who is also a GSU officer is currently under police custody.
